Text: Luke 9:22-24

We are sent ones in Christ. We are sent to make God known to all men. Cross is a place of death to self. There’s nothing we can do in this kingdom without the cross. Man’s greatest hindrance to carry out God’s plans is self.

We must carry the cross daily. Jesus fulfilled the scriptures by dying to self. Anyone that is going to be great tomorrow must start small. Matt.26:40-41; we have to die to self. God cannot use a living self but a dead self. Our living starts when we die to self. 1Cor. 15:19.

Work with God’s direction and service. John 12:25, 1Cor. 15:31; We can’t bring men to God until we die to self. The gospel is a business of dying to self. Eph. 6:2. Honour is respect. Mal. 2:1. We can’t lose when we honor God.
