Text: Luke 9:22-24

If we give God what we cannot give to Himself, He gives us what we cannot give to ourselves. The Spirit must be given permission to operate. 2Cor. 8:5. We can’t worship God in spirit except we are dead to self. 2Cor. 4:11&12. Die to self to be of service to fellow men. 1Cor. 9:19-20. Proud people don’t do well in the gospel.

If we are burdened by what we go through, we won’t help anyone, we die to self when we show concern to others. 2Cor.11:24-28. Our objective is pleasing God & fulfilling His purpose. Luke 10. 1Cor. 7:33&34. We need to die to self to be good. 2Cor. 12:14-15. Whatever we have, we share. We need to die to self to forgive an offender. Let the word of God be the judge. Christianity is wisdom, it makes things simpler.

Every good thing must be responded to by dying to self. Romans. 8:17. Matt. 5:3.
