Topic: Bearing the Fruits of the Spirit
Text: Isaiah 11:1-2
When Jesus comes to visit us, he changes what is not good in our lives. We are trees of righteousness planted by the Lord. A tree is a plant that have wooden stems that brings forth fruits. Isaiah 11:1. The church is God's vineyard. He planted the vineyard for fruits to come out. The believer is the planting of the Lord. If we don't know who we are, we won't know the plan of the Lord for our lives. We are solutions in the house of God.
Jesus is the rod, the stem is Jesse and the root is God Almighty.
Rev. 22:16. Set yourself apart to hear from heaven. The proof of the root is God.
Vs 2: When the spirit doesn't rest on us, we can't product the fruit of the spirit. When Holy spirit is working in us, we can't be predictable. We are too loaded to fail.

We have the spirit of the Lord, understanding, counsel, might, spirit of knowledge, wisdom and fear of the Lord. When we don't recognize God, we can't honour Him. A child of God can be removed from one's root by situation, but we can gain our root when we ask for the Lord's forgiveness and not returning to our vomit.
Don't be satisfied with mechanical performance. Fruits deal with our words, thoughts and actions.
Isaiah 37:31 There's hope always. God dwells where people are praising Him. Nobody is too superior in the church, God can't be stopped. We just have to be humble. There's hope to return. An unholy alliance can make us lose the spirit of God

We can be cutoff in the spirit when we enter a strange environment. Luke 8:13. We need the word of God to take the root in us. The root helps us to stand strong. We ought to be attached with God. If we are slacking in the Lord, we will be in lack which means we are no more tight in God. Luke 17:6. We need to make a prayer of faith. Speak a word that will produce the result intended. Psalm 1:3.
